Buying Time + Make Up
Recently someone asked me what I'd do if I had enough money to do whatever I wanted? It doesn't seem like a tough question until you're on the spot and can't remember a single thing you've ever wanted to do! That happens to me every time. Of course the first thing I thought of and said is to travel the world! That's a given! Shortly after I thought for a moment, I said I would mostly want to buy time with the ones I love. Meaning, I'd love to take my family and close friends somewhere amazing and spend time with them closer. Life is busy and everyday is special. I am always feeling rushed to my next task or my next destination, I often (so often) forget to slow down. I'm afraid that by the time I finally slow down, I will regret not doing so sooner! Of course I love staying busy and being a busy bee all the time, but you all know how nice it is to just sit and take advantage of the time you have close with your people you love the most! It's definitely never too late to take advantage of that time!
Sooooo onto the materialistic side of me! If I had all the money, I would also request a glam team to come to my home and help get me ready for the day. I have always dreamed of having a hair and make up team! Since I was young I loved doing my hair in crazy do's. Like one time I remember I put my hair in a pony tail and then flipped the ponytail on the top of my head and clipped little sparkly purple clips all over on top. Can you just put this image in your head? Hahaha! Luckily I grew out of that, however I kept an interest in hair. It feels creative to me to try new hairstyles. Now make up on the other hand... that's a tougher subject for me. I love make up a lot, but I always find myself doing my make up in the same way as I always do it. I get nervous to branch out because I don't have confidence in what I'm doing. And then when I do branch out, it is nothing like how I would want it to look.. so I could definitely use make up lessons! But even though I'm no expert, I wanted to share a few of my "everyday" products that I use. My everyday go-to look saves me or else I run to Pinterest or YouTube!
As far as make up tips, I don't do much different than the average YouTube girl. I've tried contouring and I literally suck at it! I just do a little powder contour on my cheeks and the carli bybel highlighter of course, but that's about it. I've tried the cream contours and that's where I get messy! It just never blends good enough for me. If I had to choose my favorite type of make up though, it would be eye shadows! I do love a good pigmented eye shadow and even though I wear the neutrals like every day, I still love crazy colorful eye shadow. I just need to branch out more often and own it! I think we all need a little bit of that, right?
Here are 4 of my favorite products for everyday!
These lovely pictures from BRAADYN! inspired me to talk a little more about make up on this post. It was so much fun to have my make up done by the amazing CHERISA! She's so talented and she literally did a work of art on me! I went from looking tired and dry to glamorous. It was so refreshing, and this is why I would love a hair and make up artist to help me, if I had all the money!

Here is the AFTER photo!! This was an amazing trio collab! I would definitely recommend both of these lovely girls who put together this masterpiece. The "After" turned out beautiful and smooth, this is definitely not a look I could create on my own!
